"And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”;
nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

— 1 CORIMTHIANS 12:21

When you are standing on your two feet, the force of gravity is stronger at your feet than at your head, because your feet are closer to the centre of mass of the Earth than your head is.

This means that time passes slower at your feet than at your head.

If you placed two clocks, — one at your feet and one at your head, the clock at your feet would tick slower than the one at your head.

In other words, your feet are slightly behind in time compared to your head —
That is, your feet are younger than your head.

That is, your head is older than your feet.

And that is why — generally speaking — your head should govern where you go, and not your feet.

Your feet are young — more often than not, they want to go where they should not go — they want to run when they should walk — and walk when they should run.

Let the older, — and hopefully, wiser head, — give wise counsel to your younger feet.

May The Lord give you understanding.
